CompX National USPS-1172C Summary: CompX National C9100/C9200 Mailbox Lock for USPS-L-1172C is the only mailbox lock to meet and exceed United States Postal Service Specification "USPS-L-1172C" How the lock opens determines the key rotation. Looking at the front of the mailbox, if your hinge is on the right and the lock on the left you need the C9100, opposite for C9200.

• Meets and exceeds United States Postal Service specifications "USPS-L-1172C"
• Lock can withstand 1000 pounds of force applied to the cam.
• Accommodates up to 3/16" thick cam.
• Drain holes on the bottom of the cylinder.
• Includes: a spring clip, mounting nut and (3) keys.
• C9100 operates clockwise
• C9200 operates counter clockwise
• Will be shipped w/o cam for replacement of locks for new Standard 4C boxes shipped only to USPS
• 5 Pin tumbler
• 90° clockwise
• Dustshutter
• Spring mounting clip may be reversed for cam clearance.
• Hex nut is out of round by design to meet strength requirements of USPS L-1172, small socket and immobilization of cam critical for install. Nut will feel cross-threaded, but it s not.
